Cricket betting at baji — make every Bangladesh Tigers match more enjoyable
From T20 to Test, from BPL to international cricket — baji offers detailed markets, real-time odds and live betting for every format.
Cricket Formats and Competitions
To understand cricket betting, you first need to know how the game changes across formats. Each format has a different strategy, pace and range of betting market opportunities.
T20
Fast-paced 20-over cricket — BPL, IPL and the T20 World Cup are played in this format. Match results can change at any moment, making live betting especially popular here. Markets cover all types: Match Winner, Total Runs, number of sixes and more.
ODI
50-over one-day international matches — this format is seen in the ICC World Cup and bilateral series. There is more room for analysis than in T20, as the performances of batters and bowlers become clearer over time.
Test
The longest format at five days — the toughest test of tactics. Markets here include Match Winner, Draw, Series Result and the end of each day's innings. This is the preferred format for patient bettors.
BPL — Bangladesh Premier League
Bangladesh's own T20 league, where local and overseas cricketers play together. It is one of the most popular tournaments among Bangladeshi fans. Every BPL match at baji has multiple markets available.
IPL and International Matches
India's IPL and the ICC T20 World Cup are followed with equal enthusiasm in Bangladesh. Participation in betting markets is naturally higher for international matches, especially those featuring the Bangladesh Tigers.
Popular Betting Markets
baji offers multiple types of markets for every cricket match. The most commonly used markets are summarised below:
Match Winner
A bet on which of the two teams will win — the simplest and most straightforward market. There is no draw in T20, so you just choose Team A or Team B.
SimplestToss Winner
Which team will win the toss before the match — this is a standalone market unrelated to the match result. It offers a simple and quick decision.
Quick MarketTop Run Scorer
Which batter will score the most runs in the match or innings — this market is a bet on individual performance.
Individual PerformanceTotal Runs Over/Under
baji sets a specific runs line — you bet on whether the total runs in the match will be over or under that line. Example: if the line is 155 runs and Team A scores 162, 'Over' wins.
Runs-BasedMulti Bet
Three or more selections combined into one bet — each set of odds is multiplied together, increasing the total return. You receive the full amount only if every selection is correct.
Multiplied OddsTop Wicket Taker
Which bowler will take the most wickets in the match — this market is also individual performance-based and can be placed alongside a Match Winner bet.
Bowler-BasedHow to Read Odds
Odds on a betting site are written in three different ways — decimal, fractional and American. All three give the same information, just expressed differently. Below is an example to explain:
| Format | Team A Odds | Result on ৳200 Stake |
|---|---|---|
| Decimal | 3.00 | If you win, ৳600 returned (৳400 profit + ৳200 stake); if you lose, ৳200 is gone. |
| Fractional | 2/1 | Same result — ৳2 profit for every ৳1 staked. |
| American | +200 | Plus sign means ৳200 profit per ৳100 staked. |
In the same match, if Team B is the favourite, their odds will be lower. Example: Team B's decimal odds are 1.50, fractional 1/2, American -200. The minus sign here means you need to stake ৳200 to win ৳100 profit. With a ৳200 stake, if Team B wins you get back ৳300 (৳100 profit).
For multi bets, the odds are multiplied together. Say three selections have odds of 1.60, 1.70 and 1.80 respectively — the combined odds are 1.60 × 1.70 × 1.80 ≈ 4.90. With a ৳100 stake, if all three are correct you get back ৳490. If even one is wrong, the full ৳100 is lost.
Live In-Play Betting
Betting continues even after the match has started — that is in-play or live betting. Every time a wicket falls, an over ends, or rain interrupts play, the odds change. As the teams' scores rise or fall, the markets update in real time accordingly.
Say Team A has lost 6 wickets in the first ten overs — their Match Winner odds will rise sharply because their chances of winning have dropped. Conversely, the team in a stronger position will see their odds shorten. This constant movement is what sets live betting apart.
Live in-play betting can also be used from a mobile device. Log in to the baji app to join markets on any ongoing match — you can check pitch conditions, weather and the state of each team before placing a bet.
Keep in mind: live betting calls for quick decisions, so it is better to set a budget beforehand. Always enjoy betting as a form of entertainment.
Football and Other Sports
Alongside cricket, baji also has betting markets for football and several other sports. The betting structure for cricket and football is quite different:
- 1. Cricket — results are only win or loss (no draw in T20/ODI), so markets are straightforward. There are many separate sub-markets based on wickets, overs and runs that do not exist in football.
- 2. Football — three possible results: win, draw or loss. Because of this three-way market, the calculation of odds works differently.
- 3. Other Sports — markets are also available for tennis, badminton and e-sports. Because the rules and scoring systems differ for each, the betting experience is different too.
The three odds formats (decimal, fractional, American) apply in the same way across all sports. For detailed rules, visit the Terms and Conditions page.
Cricket vs Football
Cricket has only two outcomes (T20/ODI), football has three. Cricket has ball-by-ball markets; football has goal-based markets. Enjoy both in their own right.

Some Tips for Getting Started
Cricket betting is one form of entertainment. Keeping a clear head and remembering a few simple points will make the experience better:
- 1 Set a fixed budget and stick to it — it is better not to stake your entire balance on a single bet.
- 2 Start with the format and tournament you know best — you can begin with BPL or the T20 World Cup.
- 3 Multi bets offer higher returns but also higher risk — as a new bettor, gain experience with single bets first.
- 4 Live betting demands quick decisions — read the match situation carefully rather than acting on impulse.
- 5 Do not place a large bet to chase a loss — betting is entertainment, not a source of income.
